Bill: Legalize Reclaiming Objects From Landfills to Combat Waste, Poverty, and Pollution
BILL TO LEGALIZE RECLAIMING OBJECTS FROM LANDFILLS TO COMBAT WASTE, POVERTY, AND POLLUTION SECTION 1. Short Title This act shall be known as the "Landfill Reclamation Act." SECTION 2. Purpose This act is enacted to achieve the following objectives: (a) To reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and promote efficient use of resources by legalizing the reclamation of objects from landfills; (b) To help the poor and the marginalized by creating a sustainable source of materials, reducing the cost of living and promoting employment opportunities; (c) To reduce environmental pollution caused by the accumulation of waste in landfills. SECTION 3. Definitions (a) Waste - any unwanted or unusable materials, substances, or solid waste, in their discarded state; (b) Landfill - an area of land where waste is buried. SECTION 4.
