A Bard’s War

I stood my ground, a warrior bold,

With sword and board, my spirit untold.

All by myself, against the horde's might,

In the darkest hour, I embraced the fight.

Their numbers vast, like waves on the shore,

Yet undeterred, I sought to restore

The balance lost, the flames of hope,

For in my heart, courage would elope.

With every clash, my resolve did grow,

Defending what I held dear, so,

I battled on, through blood and sweat,

With every swing, I'd never forget.

And in that moment, when hope seemed blurred,

I strummed a chord, a sound unheard,

For in my triumph, the sweetest reward,

Resounded in the ears of our gracious lord.

His gaze upon me, a nod of acclaim,

A testament to my steadfast aim.

Through trials endured, my spirit soared,

With victory won, a chorus I roared.

In the songs of time, this tale shall be told,

Of a lone warrior, brave and bold,

Who stood their ground, against the horde,

A testament to faith, in one accord.

So let it be known, throughout the land,

That with unwavering heart, we all shall stand,

Together we rise, united we soar,

With victory's chord, forevermore.
