BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Lake County Performing Arts Center Act." SECTION 2. FINDINGS AND PURPOSE. The Legislature finds that Lake County is in need of a new performing arts center to enhance cultural opportunities and economic growth. Purpose The purpose of this act is to provide free home internet access to low-income families in order to bridge the digital divide and ensure that all households have access to the information, resources, and opportunities available on the internet. SECTION 3. Definitions For the purposes of this act, the following definitions shall apply: (a) “Low-Income Household” means a household with an annual income of $65,000 or less. (b) “Internet Service Provider” or “ISP” means any business or organization that provides internet access to households. SECTION 4.
