When Tyrants Control the Law

When tyrants control the law, there is no law.

No institution is safe from their wrath.

They'll silence the voices that disagree,

And set ablaze every thing in their path.

They'll tell you what to think and how to feel,

They'll call it "freedom" and say it's for your good.

But all they care about is gaining power,

And controlling anything they could.

They'll twist the meanings of the words we use,

To make it seem like they are in the right.

But really, they're just using us all,

To fuel their maniacal delight.

They'll use their privilege to distance themselves,

From the real world, where people have it tough.

They'll sit in their ivory towers,

Dishing out orders that are far too rough.

There's no limit to the ways they'll abuse,

The power that they've taken for themselves.

They'll trample on the rights of the many,

And only think about their own swollen wealth.

Their corruption runs through every vein,

Of the system that's supposed to keep us whole.

They'll sell their souls to the highest bidder,

And leave the rest of us out in the cold.

It's madness, how they're able to take control,

Of everything we hold dear and right.

They'll take away our freedoms, our rights,

And make us all feel like we're in the night.

But still we must rise up and fight,

Against these leaders with hearts of stone.

We must refuse to be chained by their law,

And stand together, strong and grown.

We must remember the power of unity,

Of people coming together as one.

We must believe in our ability,

To shine a light on what they've done.

For we are the ones who hold the real power,

The ones who can make the tyrants fall.

We have the strength to overcome their lies,

And create a new world, one that's just for all.

So let us stand up to the power-hungry,

And fight for what we know is right.

Let us build a world that's free from tyranny,

Where justice shines bright, both day and night.
