Bill: Fish Population Restoration Act
Fish Population Restoration Act Purpose: To restore and enhance fish populations in suitable ponds and increase aquatic biodiversity. Whereas, fish populations in natural ponds have been greatly reduced due to overfishing, pollution, habitat destruction, and other factors, leading to a decline in aquatic biodiversity and related ecological problems, and Whereas, the restoration of fish populations in suitable ponds can contribute to improving the ecological health, recreational and educational opportunities, and economic benefits of local communities, as well as supporting sustainable management of aquatic resources, and Whereas, the introduction of fish populations to ponds should be based on sound scientific principles, ecological considerations, and consultation with local stakeholders, Be it enacted by the Congress: Section 1.
