Peace Over Profits Act Section 1: Purpose The purpose of this bill is to prevent companies that manufacture war armaments from having stock or being tradable in order to stop the unethical and harmful promotion of warfare. Section 2: Definitions (a) War Armaments: The term “war armaments” includes any item, material, or weapon that is specifically designed, developed, or intended for use in war for harmful purposes, including but not limited to weapons, ammunition, bombs, and missiles. (b) Manufacturer: The term “manufacturer” refers to any entity or person who produces, creates, develops, or builds war armaments. Section 3: Prohibition on Stock Ownership (a) No company or person that produces, creates, develops, or builds war armaments shall be allowed to own any stock or shares in any company or entity that produces, creates, develops, or builds war armaments.
