Bill: Lake County Performing Arts Center Act
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Lake County Performing Arts Center Act." SECTION 2. FINDINGS AND PURPOSE. The Legislature finds that Lake County is in need of a new performing arts center to enhance cultural opportunities and economic growth. The Legislature intends to provide funding and authorization to construct a state-of-the-art facility to promote the arts and benefit the citizens of Lake County. SECTION 3. DEFINITIONS. For purposes of this act, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) "Performing Arts Center" means a facility designed for live performances, including musical productions, plays, dance performances, and other forms of artistic expression.
