Act to Promote Free Food in Public Parks [Section 1: Purpose and Scope] This bill aims to encourage healthy eating and sustainability by introducing orange trees and blackberry bushes in public parks across the state. These plants will produce free food for all users of the park, while promoting a sense of community and environmental awareness. [Section 2: Implementation] (1) The Department of Parks and Recreation shall undertake the necessary steps to introduce orange trees and blackberry bushes in public parks, in consultation with relevant stakeholders and experts. Priority shall be given to parks that are easily accessible to urban and low-income communities, and where there is sufficient land and sunlight. (2) The Department shall also provide necessary guidance, training, and support to the park users on how to take care of the plants, including watering, pruning, and pest control.
